Welcome!
Welcome to the city of Epsilon. The year is 2435, and we are living through hard times. The humans thought they had the world wrapped around their fingers, but after so much mistreatment, the Earth rebels.
Everything is changing... nothing is like it was. Even the weather has gone mad -- tropical places struck by hailstorms, tornados punish the Sahara, but the strongest blow has to be the depletion of fossil fuel... without petroleum, the human's inventions cease functioning, and their race is left stranded, without communication.
The dogs got the worst part in this whole matter -- many owners are too preoccupied for their own well-being and don't want to keep their pets anymore. Many are abandoned.
Down the streets, the dogs struggle for survival. Will you form a pack, create a great empire? Will you be a loner, doing things your way?
Your life stands before a great crossroad. The possibilities endless, the choice, all yours... What will you become in Crossroads?

Winter
The city is as cold as can be. Everything is gray and frozen. Dogs try to group together, forming temporary alliances in order to survive. It snows copiously. Snowstorms strike on ocasion.
Packs
There are no packs as of now. Members are encouraged to make their own!
A gang has just been created, though -- say hi to the Zenoir!
OOC

Streets Torn apart by the elements, the asphalt roads are fractured and in disrepair. Moss and cold-resilient grasses have grown over the frozen trolley tracks and heave through the surfaces of even the busiest streets. Potholes and black ice are a real danger here. Garbage, glass, and scrap metal fill the alleys. On the outskirts of town, the buildings are in poor shape and many are abandoned. One would have a better chance of finding life in the center of the town were conditions are a little better and business struggles to continue as usual.

Subway This subterranean train was built to help control traffic, and it worked just fine. For a time. Now that fossil fuel has run out, the subway has fallen into a tragic state of decay. The lights have all gone and the place is shrouded in a menacing darkness. Some parts might flood when it rains, and the metallic stairs are rusted and dangerous.

Main Square The rooftops may belong to cats, the streets to the dogs, and the sewers to the rats, but the main square belongs solely to the pigeons. The square is thick with the birds, thanks to the opulent nesting boxes set on each street corner. At the center of the square, the remnants of a small park can still be seen. An eroded fountain, long empty, sits beneath bare trees; a few benches are still in decent condition. Only a few of most resilient of trees and weeds have survived the storm, and even the pigeons' boxes are in as poor of shape as their larger sources. A few vendors still set up shop on the cobblestone streets, providing food and other commodities to human and beast alike.

Skatepark A big skateboarding park made of concrete that due to lack of maintenance is laden with cracks and weeds coming out of them. Complete with quarter pipes, spines, launches, ramps and everything in a similar state of neglect. The walls are covered in graffiti and it is said that human gangs still frequent this place.

Neighbornhood On Epsilon's east flank, ruined shops and businesses give way to apartments and townhouses that are in a little better state of decay. Iron grating bars every window and door and private property is tightly guarded. Homes are repaired with everything imaginable.

Warehouse This half-burned building was abandoned by the humans trying to save their lives. Its halls are crowded with piled crates, with rats running around in every corner. The murky smell of discomposing wood is thick here.

Library No one remembers when this thing was built, nor when was it abandoned; all they know is that this place has not been used for the purpose it was built for in ages. The once valued books now lie scattered all over the floor, the ornaments have been subject of looting, and everything is covered by a thick layer of dust. Humans no longer come here, well, except for the occasional bandit, and now dogs are free to use this library for the same purposes the bandit do-- hiding. Got a pursuer? The rows of bookshelves can provide excellent cover, and in the running maze of shelves, nobody will find you, ever. Do watch out not to get lost yourself, though.

Junkyard A high, wire fence surrounds the place and its two entrances are guarded by massive, rusted gates. But don't let the security fool you, only a dead dog could miss the holes in the fencing that line the perimeter. Push hard enough, and even the biggest of dogs can get through.

Que podrķan decir?
Coast Away from the cultured city, black lava rock juts out of the earth and into the ocean. A massive swathe of the sharp rock makes up the beach. One has to navigate across narrow crevasses and razor-edged peaks before one reaches the water. Here, the rock is worn down into rough, porous mounds that ends just below the tideline. What little sand there is, like the formations it was pulled from, is black, rough, and gritty. It sifts freely among the closely-layered clam beds that rest nearest the water. This is a treacherous ground for the unwary.
Eye of Epsilon The gulf of Epsilon, poetically named the "Eye". This circular depression was created by a meteor strike many centuries ago, and by only scarce metres it did not entirely cut off the peninsula from the rest of the land.

Grasslands A vast extension of plains with only a handful of twisted trees and spiny bushes thrown in. In the night, the cold here is almost unbearable.
